crustyimg
Drop a photo — crustyimg makes it web-ready: resized to 2048 px,
modernized to AVIF, and never bigger than you started. It runs entirely in
your browser, and it's the same engine the crustyimg web CLI runs on whole
folders.

Run this on all your images
This page runs the same engine crustyimg web does, in your browser. Install the
CLI to run it on a whole folder at once:
…or every JPEG in a directory: crustyimg web *.jpg
What web does (the recipe, verbatim)
The in-browser result uses the same engine and the same AVIF quality (q85)
as the CLI (DEC-069, resolved). Bytes are not guaranteed identical — this build is a
no-asm rav1e — but the settings match. Install:
cargo install crustyimg.
